Customers have discovered how good our slices and whole pies are!  With the great taste, there are many questions about ingredients, size, etcetera.  Here’s where we will answer these questions for you.  We will be adding updates so check back.

Why is it called Mammoth Pizza?

Our slices are bigger than your head! And our Mammoth whole pizza is 20″ bigger than any pizza in town.

Do you make your dough from scratch?

We sure do and wouldn’t have it any other way.  Fresh ingredients are combined in our dough mixer and then rested for 48 hours before it even reaches the customers.

Do you make your gluten free dough from scratch?

Absolutely.  We hunted for the best possible gluten free flour we could find.  Thanks to a small company in L.A. we found a fantastic flour blend.  *Please note that we are not a dedicated gluten free kitchen.  Our space is 736 sq.ft and we do our best to keep food separate, but it’s not possible to be dedicated GF kitchen.

Do you use only fresh ingredients?   

Our ingredients include imported Italian olives, pit smoked ham, fresh pineapple, jalapenos, onions, seasonal peppers, marinated organic heirloom tomatoes, fresh mozzarella and Italian seasoned sausage.  Our pizza suace is our own blend of San Marzano tomatoes, kosher salt, extra virgin olive oil and crushed black pepper.  Our garlic sauce is: fresh Italian parsley, basil, extra virgin olive oil, kosher salt and crushed black pepper.  Fresh and delicious!

I hear you sell delicious slices.  How big are they?  

That’s correct.  Slices of the day typically includes a cheese slice, a pepperoni slice and a few specials of the day.  Each slice is bigger than your head! 

Can I order a slice “my way”?

Absolutely!  You can a slice “your way” for additional cost per item(s). 

Do you have indoor/outdoor seating?

Yes we do.  It’s quaint inside with seating for about 12 people but there’s more outdoors seating and is available year round barring adverse weather.

Do you have dairy free cheese?

We do currently offer a dairy free cheese.  Ask for availability.

How long does it take to order a full pie?

About 20 minutes.

Do you offer late night slices? 

On the weekends we do.  From 9pm until we run out.

What are your hours of operation?

Monday and Tuesday 3pm – 9pm.  Wednesday through Sunday 11am -9pm.  Late night hours on Friday and Saturday 9pm until the slices sell.  (Days and times are subject to change).

Are dogs allowed?

Friendly leashed dogs are always welcome outside on the patio. 

Where are you located?

In the Village at Mammoth, facing Minaret Road, across from the bus stop. We are a direct stop coming down from Mammoth Mountain from skiing or mountain biking.

Do you sell alcohol?

We do sell beer & wine and wine-style drinks.  We also have gluten free alcoholic options.  

Do you sell retail?

We have our first edition t-shirts and hats are on the way!
